When the cake is somewhere else
The birthday is today. The candles are not.
Someone is on a video call. Someone forgot the matches. A kid wants to blow the candles out again. Hold the phone up. The flame is already lit, and a real blow puts it out.
Make it theirs
Put the age on the candles. Put a name on the cake.
Type an age and the wax becomes those digits, up to three of them. Pick one of eight cake flavors, then write a name or a short wish on the icing. The line holds 16 characters, so a name fits.
After the wish
Smoke, then the party.
The flame goes out and smoke curls off the wick. Balloons, confetti, and fireworks can already be on screen. Confetti falls as rain, a burst, or a fountain. Change the wax color and the flame color before you hand the phone over.
